La Plata Electric to help businesses/electric contractors understand options/benefits

DURANGO, Colo. - As part of its ongoing effort to help members "save their energy," La Plata Electric Association (LPEA) will host "Lunch & Lights," Monday, Sept. 20, noon to 1 p.m. at LPEA's headquarters in Bodo Industrial Park.

"Electricians, lighting designers, businesses and the interested general public are invited to attend this free educational workshop," said Ray Pierotti, LPEA project specialist. "It will be a working lunch that will explore the latest innovations in energy efficient commercial lighting, as well as the substantial rebates currently available to commercial operations that 'change out' T-12 fluorescent light bulbs for more energy-efficient T-5 or T-8 bulbs."
