State & Federal Policy
Colorado Food & Agriculture Policy Council
This group is in the process of organizing in order to network, coordinate, and support Food and Agriculture Policy Councils across Colorado, including ours here in the Southwest. We have initiated a statewide website where you will find information on the other regional groups and can get involved in making positive changes in state food and agriculture policy.
There are many groups doing excellent work to help improve federal farm policy.
NCSA: National Campaign for Sustainable Agriculture
One of the most comprehensive policy groups nationwide.
Western Sustainable Agriculture Working Group (WSAWG)
This group deals with policy issues most important to producers in the Western US.
